Publication Opportunities
All papers accepted in SASBE 2025 will be published in either of our two high-impact proceedings. Authors need to make their choice on the following options upon the submission, and this cannot be changed after acceptance. Authors are encouraged to select the best publishing avenue for their research and to take full advantage of the opportunities for high-impact dissemination of their work.
Proceedings Options
Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (Springer Nature, Scopus Indexed)
Publication in the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (LNCE) series is subject to the following terms:
- Copyright Ownership: Authors retain copyright but grant non-exclusive rights to Springer Nature.
- Extended Papers: Must extend original content by at least 30%.
- Figures and Tables: Require permission from Springer Nature.
Open Access Proceedings of Smart and Sustainable Built Environment Series
Publication in this open-access series is free of charge and licensed under CC BY 4.0.
- Free of charge and open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) License.
- Authors retain full copyright and are free to share, adapt, and reuse their work with proper attribution.
- No restrictions on figures, tables, or data reuse.
- Papers in this track will be widely disseminated and made publicly available to maximise research impact.
- Papers receive DOIs and are indexed in Google Scholar.
- Application for Scopus indexing will be made after 2 years.

Extended Paper Publication in a Thematic Book
Authors will also have the opportunity to publish their extended papers as book chapters in a thematic book published by Routledge. All chapters will be indexed in Scopus.
